Štrbački Buk is the largest and most famous waterfall on the river Una, where the river drops about 24 metres in three main steps over travertine ledges. It lies in Una National Park, on the border with Croatia, about 30 kilometres from Bihać. Wooden walkways and viewing platforms bring visitors close to the falls. There is an entry fee, usually payable in cash, and a short walk from the car park. The falls are at their most powerful in spring, and the park is also a centre for rafting and kayaking on the Una.
