This Naqshbandi zawiya stands on Krivajska Street in Olovo, beside the river Krivaja. It carries the name of Shaykh Mehmed Efendi Hafizović, whom the community honours as a shahid, and it continues the Naqshbandi tradition of central Bosnia, whose great historic centres include the zawiyas of Vukeljići and Oglavak. The zawiya holds gatherings for dhikr, and visitors are welcome to sit quietly or recite al-Fatiha. Olovo lies on the road between Sarajevo and Tuzla, and the old wooden masjid of Solun is a short drive away.
