This mosque near Bab Shu'ub in the Old City of Sana'a is attributed to Azdumur Pasha, the Ottoman governor of Yemen in the mid-sixteenth century, and it has been rebuilt in later periods. Its minaret is decorated with carved plaster in the Sana'a style, and the mosque is busy with the life of the surrounding neighbourhood.
