Al-Uthmani Mosque in the Shaykh Uthman district of Aden is associated with Shaykh Uthman, after whom the district is named, and with the patronage of the Abdali sultans of Lahj. It stands in the old cemetery of the district. It is a simple whitewashed mosque among the graves, a short distance from the busy markets of Shaykh Uthman.
