The madrasa and tomb of al-Nasir Muhammad ibn Qalawun was begun in 1295 and completed in 1304, next to his father's complex on al-Muizz Street. The sultan's mother and his son are buried here, while he himself was laid in his father's tomb. Its Gothic marble doorway was brought from a Crusader church in Acre after the city was taken in 1291, and its minaret is covered in fine stucco. It stands between the Qalawun complex and the madrasa of Barquq.
