This public bathhouse was built in 1456 on the orders of Sultan Inal. It is one of the few old bathhouses left in Cairo out of the nearly eighty that still stood at the end of the nineteenth century. After a long restoration it is now open to visitors as a historic monument. It stands at Bayn al-Qasrayn on al-Muizz Street.
