The madrasa of Tatar al-Hijaziyya was built around 1360 by Tatar al-Hijaziyya, a daughter of Sultan al-Nasir Muhammad, during the second reign of Sultan al-Nasir Hasan. It contains her domed tomb. The building faces a narrow lane in al-Gamaliya, a short walk east of al-Muizz Street.
