The Great Mosque of Seiyun is the town's main historic congregational mosque, associated with Shaykh Ahmad ibn Mas'ud Ba Raja. It stands beside the Kathiri Palace in the centre of Seiyun. The mosque has a wide prayer hall with rows of white columns, a large courtyard and a tall minaret that rises over the main square of the town.
