The Ahl al-Kahf Mosque stands in the village of al-Miqab, high on Jabal Sabir above Taiz, and is named by local tradition after the People of the Cave. It is one of the best-known historic mosques of the mountain. The mosque has a prayer hall with a wooden roof on columns, a small minaret and a rainwater pool. The grave of the scholar Abd al-Rahman ibn Bakr is inside. The drive from Taiz takes about 45 minutes.
