This grave lies in the historic burial ground beside the Mosque of Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi in the Salihiyyah quarter of Damascus, close to the tombs of Ibn Arabi and of Qadi Ibn al-Zaki. It belongs to Shaykh Muhammad Sukkar, one of the men of learning of Damascus laid to rest in this blessed area. Little about his life has been published in readily available sources. The grave is usually visited together with the other tombs around the Ibn Arabi mosque.
