This maqam north-east of Badra, near the Iranian border, marks another place where Imam Ali al-Rida is said to have stopped on his journey from Madinah to Khurasan in about 200 AH. It is a small local shrine in the countryside of the Badra district, a few kilometres from the other maqam of the Imam near Badra.
