This maqam in the Tursaq area of eastern Diyala is dedicated to al-Khidr, the righteous servant of Allah whom Nabi Musa met and travelled with. It is looked after by a local sayyid family. It is a small shrine in open country near the Iranian border, visited mainly by people from the surrounding villages.
