This shrine beside the Great Mosque of Kufa is honoured as the grave of Sayyida Khadija, a daughter of Sayyiduna Ali ibn Abi Talib, who lived in Kufa during her father's caliphate. It stands next to the mosque, close to the shrines of Muslim ibn Aqil and Hani ibn Urwa, and pilgrims usually visit it on the same visit.
