About Grave of Sa'd ibn Ubadah

Sa'd ibn Ubadah was the chief of the Khazraj in Madinah and one of the leaders of the Ansar who took part in the Pledge of al-Aqabah. He was famous for his generosity, as his house fed the poor and the guests of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ, and he carried the banner of the Ansar on several campaigns. After the Prophet's ﷺ passing he left Madinah for Syria, where he passed away around 15 AH. His shrine stands in the town of al-Mulayhah in the Ghouta east of Damascus, where his grave has long been visited.
