This mosque of more than a hundred years stands in the al-Umayriyyah quarter of Hofuf, next to the Umm Zurayniq cemetery, where several mosques were built around the burial ground. It was restored in the second phase of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Project for the Development of Historical Mosques, which enlarged it to about 214 square metres for 94 worshippers after a period in which prayers had stopped.
