Masjid al-Ru'asa stands on the western side of al-Majma'ah, the main town of Sudayr, and was built in 1365 AH. Prayers had stopped there before it was rebuilt in the second phase of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Project for the Development of Historical Mosques; it now covers about 663 square metres and holds about 210 worshippers.
