Al-Musawkaf is the traditional market of Unayzah, rebuilt in 2009 in the style of the old covered souq of the same name, which had about 200 shops before it was taken down in 1974. Its 52 shops line a shaded walkway in Najdi style, with open majlis areas and a display of old cars and buses at the former Dughaythiriyyah passenger station. The shops sell crafts, antiques and traditional foods, and the souq holds auctions of old household goods and swords, as well as seasonal festivals with poetry evenings and folk games. It is busiest in the evenings and stands west of the mosque of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymin, a short walk from Al-Bassam Heritage House.
