Sayyida Zaynab bint Jahsh, Mother of the Believers and cousin of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ, married him in 5 AH. She was known for her worship and for giving away what she earned with her own hands, and she was the first of his wives to pass away after him, in 20 AH. Her room was one of the chambers built for the wives of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ beside his mosque. These rooms were brought into the mosque in the expansion of 88 AH, and the site now lies within Masjid al-Nabawi.
