This domed tomb at Balata, at the eastern entrance to Nablus between Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal, has been honoured for centuries as the grave of Nabi Yusuf. It stands about 300 metres from the Well of Nabi Ya'qub, and the grave of Nabi Yusuf is also honoured within Masjid al-Ibrahimi in Hebron. The present building, a small rectangular room with a cenotaph under a white dome, dates from a rebuilding in 1868, and the dome was renewed in 2010.
