This small Mughal mosque was endowed by Sher Khan, who settled in Jandiala Sher Khan in the reign of the emperor Akbar and also built the stepwell beside it. The brick mosque has been restored by the Punjab archaeology department. It stands immediately south-east of the baoli, a short walk from the shrine of Waris Shah.
