This shrine in Jubayha, in north Amman, is honoured as a maqam of Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, one of the ten promised Paradise and among the first to accept Islam. He passed away in Madinah and is buried in al-Baqi', so this site honours his memory. It is on the Royal Committee's list. The shrine stands in a residential district of north Amman, near the University of Jordan, and is a popular place of visitation for families.
