Khan Dhari is a caravanserai built in 1908, at the end of the Ottoman period, by the Zawba' tribe led by Shaykh Dhari al-Mahmud. It stood on the old main road from Baghdad to Fallujah and gave travellers on their way to the Levant and the Hijaz a place to rest and spend the night. Its rooms are set around a large open courtyard. The khan was restored in 2022 and opened as a small heritage museum, with nine rooms of photographs and objects from the revolt of 1920, in which Shaykh Dhari took part, and a bronze bust of him at the entrance. It lies in Abu Ghraib, west of Baghdad.
