Sayyid Zayn al-Din ibn Zayn al-Abidin al-Rifa'i al-Husayni al-Baghdadi was an Ottoman-era Muslim scholar, jurist and spiritual figure associated with the Rifa'i tradition. He settled near Bald Ruz later in his life and died in 1742, traditionally being buried within his zawiya beside its prayer and remembrance area. His tomb developed into a local shrine and place of ziyarah, surrounded by what is now known as Zayn al-Din Cemetery.
