The National Military Museum is the museum of the Egyptian army, housed in the Harim Palace that Muhammad Ali built inside the Citadel in the nineteenth century. Its halls show weapons, uniforms and models of battles from ancient times to the modern era, and old aircraft and artillery stand in the gardens outside. The museum is included in the Citadel ticket and lies in the northern part of the Citadel.
