Homhil is a protected area in the north-east of Socotra, a highland of rocky slopes covered with dragon's blood trees, frankincense trees and bottle trees found nowhere else. A short walk from the campsite leads to a natural rock pool on the edge of a cliff, high above the sea, with views down to the coast.
