This shrine on a hill at al-Lisk, east of Tarim, is honoured as the resting place of Abbad ibn Bishr al-Ansari, a Companion of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ from Madinah known for his devotion to the Qur'an and his night prayers. The small shrine overlooks the palm groves of Wadi Hadramawt, and an annual visitation is held here after sunrise.
