This mosque and shrine in Ma'arrat al-Nu'man is dedicated to Nabi Yusha' ibn Nun, the companion and successor of Nabi Musa who led Bani Isra'il into the Holy Land. Shrines in his name are also honoured in Jordan, Iraq and Istanbul. It stands in the old town a short walk from the Great Mosque and the town museum, and is visited by local people as a place of blessing.
