Al-Rawha
Al-Rawha' was a regular stopping place on the old road between Madinah and Makkah. Nabi Muhammad ﷺ prayed here on his journeys, and a mosque has marked the spot since the first generations of Islam. It was also along this route that the Muslim army marched to Badr in 2 AH. The small mosque stands in the village of al-Rawha', about sixty kilometres south-west of Madinah, close to the old well that shares its name. It is mostly visited by those tracing the historic route between the two Holy Cities.
