Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, one of the earliest Muslims and one of the ten promised Paradise, was the first to shoot an arrow in the path of Allah and later led the Muslim army at al-Qadisiyyah. He had a house close to the mosque of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ. The site lies within the grounds of Masjid al-Nabawi, among the houses of the Companions that once surrounded the mosque. Sa'd later lived at his estate in al-Aqiq.
