Abu Bakr al-Siddiq had a house on the western side of the mosque of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ, with a small door opening into the mosque. When the other doors into the mosque were closed, his was left open, and it is remembered today by the gate named Bab Abi Bakr in the western wall. The site lies within Masjid al-Nabawi on its western side. Abu Bakr's other house, in the east of the city, has its own listing.
