Sayyida Umm Habibah Ramlah bint Abi Sufyan, Mother of the Believers, was among the early Muslims who emigrated to Abyssinia. Nabi Muhammad ﷺ married her while she was still there, and she came to Madinah in 7 AH. She passed away in Madinah in 44 AH. Her room was one of the chambers built for the wives of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ beside his mosque. These rooms were brought into the mosque in the expansion of 88 AH, and the site now lies within Masjid al-Nabawi.
