About Masjid al-Nabawi

Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah is the second holiest site in Islam and holds a special place in the hearts of every believer. After the Hijrah, our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ developed and expanded this blessed city, establishing it as the spiritual and communal heart of the early Muslim Ummah. It was here that the Qur’an was taught, hearts were nurtured, and the foundation of the Islamic civilisation was laid. Through his blessed presence, Madinah became the most illuminated city on earth, a city of mercy, tranquillity, and love. At the heart of the masjid lies the Rawdah, a part of Jannah, and just beyond it is the grave of the Prophet ﷺ, alongside Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna ‘Umar رضي الله عنهما. To stand just metres away from his noble grave is a moment of indescribable closeness and reverence. Masjid al-Nabawi is not only a place of immense reward, but a sanctuary of light, peace, and spiritual renewal for every soul that visits it with love and longing.
