Bab al-Sham, the Syrian Gate, was the north-western gate of the inner walls of Madinah, facing Mount Sal' and standing between the end of the walls and the citadel of the city. It is marked on the Ottoman General Staff map of Madinah drawn in 1880. The gate was taken down with the walls in the twentieth century. Its site lies about 650 metres north-west of Masjid al-Nabawi, towards Mount Sal'.
