The Alamoudi Museum is a private heritage museum on the Makkah to Jeddah highway, on the western outskirts of Makkah, built from the collection of Abu Bakr al-Amoudi. It shows traditional life in the Hijaz and the wider Arabian Peninsula, with household objects, tools, weapons and costumes, and items connected to the Ka'bah, including replicas of its door and keys. The museum is housed in buildings of traditional mud-brick style around an open courtyard, and visitors can dress in traditional clothing for photographs. It makes a convenient stop on the road between Jeddah and Makkah.
