This station at al-Manshiyah, on the edge of Al-Ula town, was one of the stops on the Ottoman Hejaz Railway, which ran from Damascus to Madinah from 1908. Its stone buildings housed station staff and stores for trains carrying pilgrims south. The station is fenced but can be seen from outside, with remains of old carriages nearby and information panels. It lies close to Al-Ula Old Town and Masjid al-Izam.
