The village of Kifl Haris, between Salfit and Nablus, is home to the maqam of Nabi Dhul Kifl. It is one of three sacred places recorded in the village in the nineteenth century, alongside the maqams of Nabi Nun and Nabi Yusha' ibn Nun, and a shrine of Nabi Dhul Kifl is also honoured at al-Kifl in Iraq. The maqam is a small domed stone building among trees in the old part of the village, and the other two maqams are a short walk away.
