Souq al-Haraj is an old second-hand and antiques market in the lanes off Maydan Square, at the northern end of Rashid Street. Its stalls are full of old radios, gramophones, records, tools, coins and household curios, and it is a favourite browsing place for collectors. It is close to the Ahmadiya Mosque and Khan al-Mudallal, another of the old city's antiques markets.
