This is an old Baghdadi courtyard house beside the Saray market, with the wide central doorway, inner courtyard and wooden balconies typical of the city's Ottoman-era homes. Local tradition links it to an official of the Ottoman administration. It was restored as part of the renewal of the Saray lane and now houses a café, so visitors can sit in the courtyard.
