Ras Muhammad is Egypt's first national park, at the southern tip of the Sinai peninsula where the Gulfs of Suez and Aqaba meet. It is known for its coral reefs, mangroves and clear water, and is one of the main snorkelling and diving sites of the Red Sea. It is a short drive from Sharm el-Sheikh, and an entrance fee is charged.
