The Hasan Nasrallah mosque is one of the principal Ottoman mosques of Fuwwa, an old river town known for its many historic mosques. It is a raised, or hanging, mosque overlooking the Rosetta branch of the Nile, close to the mosque of Sidi Abu al-Makarim.
