About Grave of Najm al-Din al-Khabushani

Najm al-Din al-Khabushani was a Shafi'i scholar from Khurasan whom Salah al-Din placed at the head of the madrasa he built beside the tomb of Imam al-Shafi'i. He passed away in 587 AH. He is buried at the foot of Imam al-Shafi'i's tomb, inside the great domed mausoleum in the Qarafa.
