The Ahmad Yahya Pasha Mosque, named after Ahmad Yahya Pasha, was founded in the 1920s in the Zizinia district on the eastern side of the city. With its tall minaret and fine stonework, it is one of the best-known mosques of the Raml districts. Its prayer hall is crowned by a painted dome, and the mosque stands beside the Royal Jewelry Museum, a short walk from the Corniche and the Mahmoud Said Museum.
