Qubbat al-Mutawakkil is a domed mosque on Tahrir Square in Sana'a, first built in 1139 AH and associated with Imam al-Mutawakkil al-Qasim ibn al-Husayn. Imam Yahya Hamid al-Din restored the main dome in 1346 AH (1927) and added the nine-domed mosque beside it. The mosque's white domes are a landmark of the square, and the National Museum and the Museum of Popular Heritage stand beside it.
