Ibn al-Husayn Mosque in the al-Qazali area of the Old City of Sana'a is attributed to al-Husayn ibn Salama, the regent of the Ziyadid state who was known for building mosques and wells across Yemen, and it has been rebuilt in later periods. The mosque stands near the Sa'ila and the orchards of the old city, a short walk from al-Jala Mosque.
