The Minaret of Aden is the free-standing minaret of an early mosque in Crater, Aden's old town. It is one of the city's best-known landmarks and appears on Aden's car number plates. The tall white minaret stands on its own in a small garden in Crater, near the old museum buildings and Sira Castle, and is a short walk from the al-Asqalani Mosque.
