Sayyida Halimah bint Abi Dhu'ayb al-Sa'diyyah, of the Banu Sa'd ibn Bakr of Hawazin, was the wet-nurse of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ, who spent his early childhood with her family in the desert. She later came to him with her husband al-Harith and accepted Islam, and he honoured her for the rest of his life. She is honoured with a grave in the eastern part of al-Baqi', a short way north of the grave of Uthman ibn Affan. As with the rest of al-Baqi', the graves are level and unmarked. Her home in the lands of Banu Sa'd near Taif is listed separately.
