Wasif Ali Wasif (1929–1993) was a Sufi writer and poet from Khushab who settled in Lahore, where he taught and wrote. His collections of short reflections and aphorisms in Urdu, such as Kiran Kiran Suraj and Dil Darya Samundar, are still widely read. His shrine stands on Bahawalpur Road beside Miani Sahib graveyard, with a green-domed gateway and a decorated tomb chamber. It is visited throughout the week, especially on Thursdays.
