About Grave of Saadat Hasan Manto

Saadat Hasan Manto (1912–1955) was one of the most celebrated writers of Urdu short stories. He moved to Lahore in 1948 and passed away here in January 1955. He is buried in Miani Sahib graveyard, and his grave is marked by a simple headstone in Urdu. Readers still come to lay flowers on it.
