Ghoray Shah is the name by which Lahore knows a child saint, given in different accounts as Sayyid Burhan al-Din or Bahauddin Shah, who is said to have passed away at the age of five. Ghora means horse, and the story told of him is that he loved horses and that those who brought him toy horses found their wishes answered. Devotees still bring small clay horses to the shrine, and they are sold at stalls by the gateway and placed around the grave on its raised platform. The enclosure is shaded by old trees and lies on Ghoray Shah Road near the University of Engineering and Technology, not far from the shrine of Miran Husayn Zanjani.
