Ulster University Islamic Society (ISoc) is the Muslim student society of Ulster University, based at the Belfast campus on York Street in the Cathedral Quarter. Affiliated to Ulster University Students' Union, it supports Muslim students in Belfast and across the university's other campuses. The society looks after the prayer facilities on the Belfast campus. Male prayer room: BD-02-037 Female prayer room: BD-02-005 Male ablution area: BD-02-037 for men Female ablution area : BD-02-038 Activities The society runs a programme of events through the academic year, including a Freshers' welcome event for new students, nightly Taraweeh prayers on campus during Ramadan, Iftar gatherings, and an Eid get-together after Ramadan. Membership is open through the Students' Union societies page, and the society draws students from a wide range of backgrounds studying in Belfast.
